Your guide to living in Majan

Majan is a residential community within Dubailand. The development of modern apartment buildings, like Al Rabia Tower, combined with the close proximity to popular attractions and major highways, have made Majan an increasingly popular place to purchase affordable apartments in Dubai. 

Connectivity

Located just off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), Majan offers excellent connectivity to the rest of Dubai. You can drive to Downtown Dubai in about 20 minutes and to Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina in about 25 minutes. Majan is not currently serviced by the Dubai Metro or bus services, so residents typically travel by car. 

Property types

Majan consists of low to mid-rise buildings with a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The affordability of Majan’s apartments, whilst offering great amenities and connectivity, has made it a sought-after community with buyers, investors and tenants. Popular buildings in Majan include Al Rabia Tower, Madison Residence and ARAS Residence. 

Retail and dining

Located less than 10 minutes from Majan, Cityland Mall features the largest hypermarket in Dubailand, as well as 350 retail stores, and a 10-screen cinema. Residents of Majan can also enjoy a choice of supermarkets within the community, including Carrefour, Grandiose and Al Majan Grocery. Plus, there is a Waitrose supermarket in the adjacent Al Barari. 

There are several small cafes and restaurants in Majan and Al Barari, serving a variety of cuisines, including the popular The Farm restaurant. Plus, Cityland Mall contains over 75 restaurants, so choices are abundant for Majan residents. 

Recreation

There are lots of great attractions for residents of Majan to enjoy in the wider Dubailand area. The incredibly popular Global Village is only 5 minutes away, combining the cultures of over 90 countries to offer events, concerts, food, and shopping. The world's largest indoor theme and amusement park, IMG Worlds Of Adventure, is also located nearby, as well as Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Butterfly Garden. 

Many of the developments in Majan include a swimming pool and gym for residents. For fitness enthusiasts, there is Core Gym and Project Fitness within Majan, plus there is the Body Language Health Club in Al Barari. 

Schools

Whilst there are currently no schools within Majan, there are a number of excellent institutions within the wider Dubailand community. The British Schools of Kent College Dubai, GEMS Winchester School and the incredibly popular Jumeirah English Speaking School are all less than 10km away. For those seeking the American curriculum, Dunecrest American School is located in Al Barari, and there are the Fifth Dimension Elementary School and the American School of Creative Science in the nearby Nad Al Sheba.
