How can I get a RERA card in Dubai?

A RERA card is your license to operate as a real estate broker in Dubai. To get a RERA card, you will first need to get your residency visa and then undergo a certified brokerage course. At Betterhomes, we will book candidates onto a five-day course after securing their residency visa. One you have passed the course, we will share your certification and license with you.

Do I need a real estate license in Dubai?

Yes, real estate brokers are required to obtain a license from the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) in Dubai. At Betterhomes, we organise this for you and provide you with a loan to cover the cost. You can then repay the loan within the first few months on the job.

How much do real estate agents earn in Dubai?

This is the most exciting aspect of real estate roles, especially in Dubai. You can earn life-changing money. What you earn is completely uncapped so you are in control of your own income. On top of this, you don't pay taxes. So, a career in Dubai real estate can really change your life. That being said, it doesn't come without hard work and a couple of months of living off your savings whilst you build up your experience and pipeline.

How can I succeed in real estate in Dubai?

Following a discussion with a recruiter, you then may be asked to attend an interview either by phone, video call or in person, to assess your suitability for the position. At Betterhomes, you will first have an initial interview with a recruitment agent. You may then be invited for a second interview with a branch manager. If you are based overseas, Betterhomes can conduct interviews with you via video call. If you are in the UK and interested in making the move to Dubai, we host recruitment roadshows to give you a good understanding of the basics of the role and what to expect.

How do I become a real estate broker in Dubai?

If you have sales experience and a hunger for success, you can become a real estate broker in Dubai. Reach out to the recruitment team that you want to work for, either via their website or Linkedin, to apply for a position. You will usually then have an initial interview with a recruitment agent before being invited to a second interview with a branch manager. When choosing a brokerage, we recommend checking what training is provided by the company. It is also important to check the tools which you will need to succeed in your career, including marketing and admin support, lead generation, access to a database of clients, as well as career progression opportunities.
